West Michigan Surgical Specialists is comprised of board-certified surgeons with diverse expertise to deliver comprehensive care for your surgical needs. We provide around-the-clock care for trauma and acute surgery at both Trinity Health Grand Rapids and University of Michigan Health West for when emergent or urgent surgical intervention is necessary. We fill the need for kidney transplants as the only renal transplantation group in West Michigan. Our surgeons follow each patient from initial diagnosis and preoperative management through the surgery and postoperative care, with special attention to individual needs.

We specialize in advanced cases such as colon and rectal procedures, thyroid procedures, gastroesophageal reflux procedures, vascular access procedures, kidney transplantation, and advanced laparoscopic procedures including advanced robot-assisted laparoscopy.
